Sue and Carly's Butterfly Moment Giveaway

Sue's Silver and Paua Shell Butterfly Pin

The other day a little package arrived on my door step. It was from Sue. In this little package of love was 3 very special pieces of jewellery. Her instructions were "Give these to some families who need them"

What I admire about Sue is the way she gives.

After Sue shared a special poem with me about a butterfly moment I decided to create a memorial image. Below is what I came up with. I have added this image to my butterfly gallery. Out of all my gallery butterflies this is my absolute favourite and to celebrate this new addition to the gallery Sue and I are holding a joint giveaway.

Sue sent me this gorgeous Silver and Paua Shell Butterfly Pin in her package of love to giveaway.

I thought it would be a lovely idea to give away the pin with a high resolution jpeg Butterfly Moment and some sand from Christian's Seashore.

    Wow, how wonderful. As I was reading this the thing that struck me most was the sand. The pin is gorgeous and you do amazing work, Carly---I'd love to have both in memory of Hannah, and the sand. A piece of that magical beach to hold in my hands. xo

    This is such a great giveaway. Mine would be in honor of my beautiful daughter Audrey Cristine. Her birthday and anniversary of gaining her angel wings was yesterday 2-23. I think it would be great to have a piece of the beach that you so beautifully wrote her name in the sand and a beautiful pin to give my mother who has been struggling loosing her first grandchild.

    My friend just told me about the wonderful things that you do. I can't stop the tears from rolling down my face - those words are exactly what I needed to hear - thankyou. I always go to the Beach as I can see where heaven meets the earth and feel that I can connect with my precious Angel.     Hi Hun, both these things are totally stunning...Butterflies are my most favorite things and have always represented hope and faith to never give up believing in the dreams we have for the future regardless of what we face.
    I've been ttc for 5yrs and in that time my husband and I have lost 11 very precious and treasured lil Angels. But one touched our lives so much that almost a yr later Im still struggling to cope.     My daughter's name is Eva. My entire pregnancy I had a preoccupation with the color purple. When I saw this butterfly, before I even read the post, I thought, "Eva". Eva was born on August 14th 2010 and died on October 8th 2010. I would love to carry this piece of jewelry to remember my daughter and other lovies that we wish to hold.

    I’d like to enter Gavin Blue (of HEARTFELT) and his family, in memory of his precious daughter. Gavin does so much for families in need – it would be so nice if something was done for his family. When our daughter was stillborn at 39 weeks, he drove two hours, late at night, in the rain to take professional photos of our daughter at no cost, so that we could always remember her. It wasn’t just the images that were a gift – Gavin was such a great support to us. He understood what we were going through; he understood what his gift would mean to us.
